Over the weekend we moved some equipment in the library, so you can now find the following in the Level 3 study area (where the PCs are now located)
- Black & white printer
- Colour printer
- 2 x scanners
Please ask at the Information Desk if you’re not sure where they are located.

We need to shut down the mains supply to the main study areas on levels 3 and 4 tomorrow morning (1st May) between 07:00 – 08:00 in the Library building, due to some of the renovation works which are currently being carried out.
We apologise in advance for any disruption this may cause, please come and speak to staff on the information desk if you have any concerns.

Oherwydd y gwaith ailwampio sydd yn mynd ymlaen yn y llyfrgell, fe fydd angen i ni torri’r trydan i’r mannau astudio ar lefelau 3 a 4 bore yfory (1af Mai) rhwng 07.00-08.00 yn y Llyfrgell.
Ymddiheurwn o flaen llaw am unrhyw anghyfleustra sy’n cael ei achosi, os oes unrhyw bryderon gennych, dewch i siarad â staff y Ddesg Gwybodaeth.
Over the Easter break we have moved a few things around in the library.
Computers: We still have the same number of PCs available for you to use we’ve just moved them around. As you walk into the library the main cluster of PCs can be found in the Study Hall West, up on Level 4, in PC room 2 and 3 and also in our newly created PC1 (Facebook-free)
Study areas: You can now find study areas with power sockets for your laptops up on the Level 4 Gallery and in the Study Hall East.
Newspapers and Maps: These can now be found on the Level 4 Gallery area.

We are temporarily shifting a few books on Level 1 & 2 East to make way for some refurbishment work. The books will be located on tables and window sills next to where the collection normally sits. The books and shelving will all be moved back in approximately 3 weeks. We are happy to help you locate material – just ask for help at any of our service desks.
Thanks for bearing with us. You’ll now find study areas up on the level 4 Gallery with plenty of points for you to plug in your laptops. We’ve moved the PCs down into the Study Hall West. Please ask a member of staff if you’re not sure where things have moved to.
We still have a bit more building work to do, this will mainly be on West Level 1 and 2 (South). We apologise in advance for the noise, please ask a member of staff if you wish to find somewhere quieter to work.
Please also be advised that at the weekend on 31st March and 1st April the glass panels will be removed from the study area next to the PG PC area on Level 3, and on the Level 4 directly above. Once again apologies for any disruption.

Hefyd ar y penwythnos ar y 30ydd o Fawrth a 1af o Ebrill bydd paneli gwydr yn cael eu tynnu o’r fan astudio yn ymyl y man PG PC ar Lefel 3, ac ar Lefel 4 yn union uwchben. Ymddiheurwn ymlaen llaw am y sŵn.
However this does mean we will need to move some PCs and study spaces on the following dates:
28th March, 4th April and 10th April
We will also need to carry out some building work. We apologise for the noise, if you need to find a quieter area come and talk to the staff on the information desk who can help you find an alternative place to study in the building.
We have created an extra 20 study spaces on Level 1 West which is a silent study area, if you’re not sure where this is please ask.

Bydd hyn yn golygu symud cyfrifiaduron a mannau astudio ar Ddydd Mercher 28fed Mawrth, yn ogystal a peth gwaith adeiladu. Ymddiheurwn am y sŵn, os hoffech darganfod man fwy dawel i astudio dewch i siarad â staff y Ddesg Gwybodaeth.
Rydym wedi creu 20 man astudio tawel ychwanegol ar Gorllewin lefel 1, os nad ydych yn siwr ble mae’r man astudio hyn, gofynnwch wrth y Ddesg Gwybodaeth.
Over the Easter holidays the following work will take place:
30th March – glass panels will be removed from the study area next to the PG PC area on Level 3, and on the Level 4 directly above. This should take 1-2 days.
2nd – 20th April – a new roof will be laid. A few bays of books will need to be relocated on Levels 1 and 2 West.

The Netbooks vending machine at the back of the Study Hall has moved to the area next to the entrance doors to the Study Hall (right hand side).
